We are pleased to announce a new partnership between Middlesbrough Foodbank and Stagecoach North East.
When a client visits one of our Distribution Centres, sometimes they are surprised at the amount of food they receive, and sometimes they have travelled (often on foot) a long distance to get to an open Distribution Centre.
The result of the new partnership means that these clients can be given a travel voucher for travel on the Stagecoach routes in and around Middlesbrough, allowing them to get their food parcel home.
We can also allow clients extra travel vouchers if, for example, they disclose that they have an appointment in the coming few weeks of visiting the Foodbank. The travel vouchers are stamped on the date of visiting the foodbank, and must be redeemed within 3 months of that date.
