Hello!

12th June 2019

Hello, my name is Lee-Anne and I have recently joined Middlesbrough Foodbank team as Office and Warehouse Co-Ordinator. I have lived in Middlesbrough most of my life and I am part of Holy Trinity Church North Ormesby, where I am Churchwarden and I help run Godly Play for children during the Sunday morning service.

I have a heart for people and seeing them grow and flourish, I love nothing more than having a cup of tea with someone and hearing their story. Jesus said “Love your  neighbour as yourself”, well my neighbour is everyone I come into contact with, whether it be at church, in the shops or walking across the market square in North Ormesby.

Through the great relationship between The Trussell Trust and Asda, funding was provided for this employment opportunity – a huge thank you to The Trussell Trust and Asda! I felt called to apply for this job as I was ready for a new challenge, I am passionate about making a difference to people and families. Foodbank works hard to tackle hunger and I am looking forward to working alongside Soroush and the amazing volunteers who make such a difference in welcoming those who are experiencing hardship. A huge thank you to every individual and organisations who support foodbank in anyway – your contribution is much appreciated. Please do keep an eye on the website and our Social media pages for news about the amazing work happening.
